The girls have cousins and sisters with state championships so they know what it takes.

The girls here in Greenland have to believe there's another sport in town, and that's girl's softball. We're not bad, but when we play experienced teams like that we've got to play at the top of our game.

They busted us in the face in the first half. We took the jabs and found a way at halftime.

They couldn't hear me anymore. It was a 2-point ballgame, I don't care how much time they get. Time is just time.

Believe it or not, it's the best we've played all year. We jumped out and had a lead, and one inning (the fourth) we had six batters bat. I'm proud as everything that we had six hits today, and that's the best we've hit the ball.

This was a big win and we now control our own destiny to win district. Free throws were the difference. We switched our presses and got a big run and then we were able to get them in foul trouble and it paid off.

We've played each other seven times in the last two years so we know each other. We know they're going to come out and punch us in the face. We overcame the storm and I thought we handed the pressure better and started getting some open looks.

We called it to Britney. She catches it and boom, 3-pointer. That's huge because it not only gives us confidence going into halftime but it builds her confidence for down the road.

We are not going into this blind. We never go into something unprepared and we are not going to do it now. You try to do the best you can.

We didn't execute our weave very well, but we found a way to find the basket at the free throw line. Right now, you play for tomorrow and that was huge for these girls.
